Every report is a list of work that needs doing

A typical home inspection flags 20–40 deficiencies — torn screens, loose railings, leaking traps, dead outlets. Each one is a paying job. When a realtor you work with recommends you, your name sits right next to the repair. When you want to reach homeowners who don't know you yet, paid placement puts you there too.

Why this grows your book

Most leads cost money and arrive cold. A buyer reading their inspection report is different — they already know what's broken, they're motivated to fix it, and they're looking for someone to trust. That's the moment your name shows up.

Membership turns the agents you already know into a referral engine. Add placement and you reach the reports where you have no connection yet — without cold-calling a soul.

"The report already tells the homeowner what's broken. We just make sure your name is the answer to 'who fixes it?'"

Common questions

If we missed something, reach out through the contact form on HomeInspections.com and we'll get back to you the same day.

What does it cost, and is there a minimum?
$20 per month with a 3-month minimum, or $199 per year paid once (about $16.58/mo and $41 cheaper than monthly). Being recommended and listed in reports is included — there are no per-lead fees.
How do I actually get into a report?
Membership makes you eligible. When a realtor you work with builds an inspection report, they can add you as their preferred vendor and attach you to the repairs in your trade. Your name then appears beside those flagged items.
What's the difference between being listed and paying for placement?
Listing is relationship-based and included with membership — you show up when a realtor you know recommends you. Placement is a paid option that gets you into reports for homeowners and agents you have no connection with, placing your business directly beside the flagged repair.
How much is placement, and how many spots are there?
Placements start at $2 each, and there are only ever two positions per repair item — so it's limited. You load funds into your HI.com portal and only spend on the placements you choose.
How do homeowners reach me?
Reports are both physical and interactive. A homeowner reading the report can tap "who can fix this?" on a flagged item, and the pros listed or placed for that repair — including you — surface as options.
Where do I manage all of this?
In the HI.com portal. Log in to see the reports you're listed in, the realtors who've made you preferred, and every active placement, plus add funds for new placements.
I do more than one trade. Can I be listed under each?
Yes. List under every trade that applies so you're matched to more of the findings in each report.
Is the listing exclusive?
No. Standard listings are non-exclusive so homeowners can choose. Placement is what gives you priority beside a specific repair — and there are only two spots for it.
